ABOUT BRITT

Britt Baker has over 12 years of experience in government and public policy working in the top levels of the federal government with both elected and senior government officials, candidates, and chief business executives.

She most recently served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the National Economic Council (NEC) in The White House for NEC Director Larry Kudlow where she oversaw Director Kudlow’s day-to-day operations in the West Wing and served as a trusted advisor executing on a wide-range of NEC projects including serving as his Trip Director accompanying him on travel around the world with President Donald J. Trump.

Prior to serving in The White House, Britt worked with former Governor Haley Barbour at his DC-based lobbying firm, BGR Group; as well as serving five years in the United States Senate first with former U.S. Attorney General and Senator Jeff Sessions in various policy roles that included a stint on the Senate Budget Committee as an analyst, and later as a speechwriter in then Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn’s press shop. 

While working on the Hill for the Senate Majority Whip, she discovered her passion for storytelling and has since published an article in Darling Magazine discussing her experience working on Capitol Hill and the state of women in politics.

After spending five years in DC, she returned home to the south with her husband, Coalter, where she ran a startup nonprofit in Birmingham, AL. She’s also spent a season living out west in Phoenix with her husband on the 2016 Presidential Campaign trail. But the great reality of who she is and how she is, revolves around her passion for creating meaningful impact. 

Britt is a native of Alabama and graduated from Auburn University. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and their goldendoodle.
